The Chambers County Historical Commission has re-opened the case of the Murder of Sheriff John Frost (Killed Nov, 1900). The unsolved murder has sparked interest for years among researchers. A recent researched and published paper on Frost has been released by Ms. Regina McElwain. Ms McElwain did her research for a College thesis, and gave permission to re-print her papers. Currently, the article is being published in the local Anahuac, Texas weekly newspaper, The Progress, as a continued series.
