A NEW ROUTE FROM SOUR LAKE VIA
NEW BOSTON TO GALVESTON

New Boston is handsomely situated at mouth of Turtle Bayou where it empties into Galveston Bay and is on the direct route from Galveston city to Sour Lake. Its distance by land from Sour Lake is less than 30 miles, and to Galveston by water the sail is made in from 5 to 6 hours. The subscriber now employs two good passenger vessels regualarly between New Boston and Galveston by which opportunity is afforded for leaving Galveston for Sour Lake from three to four times per week. These vessels also carry horses and carriages for those who wish to go beyond New Boston to Sour Lake or other points in the country. The subscriber also runs two stages regularly between New Boston and Sour Lake, the route being over a good, high and dry road; and the travellers will be subjected to no delay whatever. A house of entertainment has been opened at New Boston where travellers will always find comfortable accommodations. The above line has been established expressly to supply a want long felt by many of our citizens. This route via New Boston is the only one from Galveston to Sour Lake. Futher information can be had by those wishing to visit Sour Lake, by applying to Mr. E.O. Lynch and Mr. Henry Hubbell of this city.
